A charity single which hopes to draw attention during Testicular Cancer Awareness week needs your help to get into the Top 40!
Feeling the Fury was released on Monday to raise money for The Christie towards research into prostate, testicular and penile cancer and to persuade men to check themselves and visit their GP if they have any concerns.
The track has been recorded by members of UK rockers Thunder, Gun and The Little Angels and also features Rock Radio DJ Mike Sweeney. With the support of Rock Radio and you the reader, it is hoped the single will achieve a Top 40 chart position this Sunday.
A video has been made to accompany the track and features cameos from XFM DJ Clint Boon and This Morning physician, Dr Chris Steele.
Jimmy Doherty, producer of Feeling the Fury, is calling on everyone to tackle male cancer by propelling the song into the charts. He says, “Us blokes don’t want to know about anything nasty in the downstairs department but we feel we’ve got an opportunity to do something about that with this track. All we’re asking is for people to spend 79p and download the track and potentially save a life by doing so.”
